    What you did, determines what you have to do now to get it out again

    • If you do know what put you in the sandbox, then stop doing that. If you aren't sure, then, although it is up to Google to let you out of the sandbox, you may be able to either speed that along or stop digging a deeper sandhole by:

      -stopping any manual link building campaigns
      -stop getting low quality links
      -review the links you have now for any low quality links and get rid of them
      -avoid, while in the sandbox, endless tweaking of the titles, content and links
      -avoid over-optimization

      In the meantime, focus on site development with the purpose of improving your site to make a better experience for your reader.
