(SEO) How do you link build multiple sites?

Hi, I have many sites, and I wonder if I should put links to all of my sites from one page (or domain) when I can.

For example, when I can put links on my profile page on some member site, should I put links to all of my sites or not?

I want to do so, however, I wonder if Google thinks it's unnatural if a lot of links to my sites are coming from the same pages, or domains.

But at the same time, it seems like waste of oppotunity if I don't put links to all the sites.

Multiple sites owners, what do you think?
How are you link-building?

Thanks!

A rule of thumb as we say in the states - or a guideline that I read - which made sense to me was ... no more than three backlinks to a domain on 1 page, and NOT to the same URL Google will likely ony spider and add to its index the first keyword/anchor text link combo it sees on a page.

    Keywords / URL [examples]

    Frozen Widgets / www.Yourdomain.xyz/index.html - landing page

    Texas Frozen Widgets / www.yourdomain.xyz/tejasspecials.html

Cheapest Widgets in Texas / www.yourdomain.xyz/specialoffers.html

Get More Frozen Widget / www.ezarticles.yyy/superlogassurl.html

    Frozen Widget Report / www.goarticles.zzz/yourarticle.html

    Thanks, 4morereferrals again!
That makes sense to me too.

What do you think about to different domains though?

For example, when I use your goldmine product(btw, it is a GREAT product) and put my links on profile pages, can I put all my sites (domains) on one page?

If only 10 or so profile pages, it wouldn't matter I suppose, but if there are so many profile pages linking to the same group of sites, wouldn't google think strange?

    Example,

My Profile on a dog lovers comunity -> link to my sites (domains) A, B, C, D, E...Z
My profile on a seo forum ->link to my sites A,B,C,D,E...Z
My Profile on a gardening comunity --> link to my sites A,B,C,D,E...Z

    (list continues...)

So, There will be many pages which have links to specific group of sites (my sites).
    Wouldn't google think it's a bit unnatural?

(If the sites A-Z get other backlinks from completely different sites each, they woldn't stand out but when they don't.)

If you have a network of sites, you do not want Google to discover that. Say if you have 10 sites, you should not have more than 2-3 sites linked from one single page, otherwise it is obvious, especially if you repeat that process on a number of pages.
I guess, and if any SEO guru wants to disagree fine, but I guess Google can and does run associations in links. Like if 2 domains share a lot of backlinks (lot=much more than natural), then they are a "clique" of some sort...

that's illegal. You shouldn't do it or yes its possible if you made all of them with different IP's and their niches were related to each

After Google became a registrar iteself, this does not work anymore. If those sites with different IPs coming from the same owner, G will not count it.

Are you saying that backlinks from our own sites (same IP or not) don't count at all with Google?

It's best to have links on sites that are somewhat relevant to yours amidst some text on those pages. Having a links-page-style list of links on a whole bunch of sites linking back to you in the exact same way has some value (little) since some links are almost always better than NO links, no matter where they come form or how they're pointing to you.

As far as Google frowning on you having a network of sites and/or it being illegal, that's a pretty ridiculous statement. As a matter of fact, some of the most successful and underground TRUE SEO GURUS have hundreds of sites and create their own mini link and traffic networks...

I have about 15 sites in the IM, MMO niche, some of them even on the same IP address via shared hosting and I manage to get 3-4 spots on page one for my money words...

Point being... any links should help no matter how they're coming to you, but there's nothing illegal about it, that's laughable Jenie0109
    Hi Daniel,

For your 30 sites, how many companies are you hosting them with? You can choose to host all of them in just one hosting company (but back them up frequently), but do you intend to host them in different companies just for having different IPs? As I mentioned above, this cannot trick G any more. Do you think it's a good idea to just host all your sites in one hosting company to save money, as having different IPs does not matter now if the domains are owned by the same person?
