Problem Tracking Goals in Google Analytics

I can't tell if Adwords is worth the expense. My goal is a specific url hit after a purchase.

The menu bar of my site in question has links to the blog (subdomain) and another domain we own with articles (on another server).

Checkout goes to a https site (another domain) on my server which links to authorize.net and returns.

Customers don't lose the session when they go between all the sites. If they add an item to the cart, it holds when they return.

The goal url is tracked but Google doesn't ever attribute any goal to Adwords. Need to know the phrases that are working well and how many of the sales are Adwords sales vs SEO vs direct links.

Any idea how I fix Analytics?

Customers normally lose session if the browsers displays another URL on the address bar. But GA works on 30 days cookie, unless customer deletes cookie it should not be a problem.

Are you using any redirection on the success page? If so you can try removing that. Do you show thank you message to customer at your site or at payment gateway site. If at payment gateway site it will not work.

You should try Google E commerce tracking that works with unique ID.

Finally you can take professional help of a developer.

    Thanks
