So I have been working in IM for six months. I have been focusing in the diet & fitness niche with some good success. I have been promoting through JV's, and the money has been steady. The problem is that I'm tired of dealing with other affiliates and getting burned with the mail outs. So I want to try and develop my list through adwords. I haven't used adwords much, but my plan is

1) to find small niche key words with low bids.
A) My question here is everything I see on hear says how expensive adwords has become. What kind of budget would be a good starting point?

2) Bring clicks to my squeeze page? I am going to offer a free training call. Once the email is entered OTO would pop up then the free call.

Right now my list is at 5,000 I have a lot of great content in the form of training calls linked to clickbank products. I feel like this formula if converts moderately well. I could have multiple campaigns going for multiple products and see big growth in my list.

I would love your feedback. I know I'm missing a bunch

Thanks

Have a talk with the Google directly before opening up your account and you may get to pay only half of the actual money you would have spent otherwise.

You want to make sure you read the TOS before you even consider opening an account. If you have the typical BS hypey squeeze page with no content and no links or anything, well, that is considered Information Harvesting.

AdWords is incredibly inexpensive, if you know what you are doing and know your numbers.

It does take a little bit of time (and money lost) to get your campaigns highly optimized, but you can really do that in about two weeks and a couple hundred dollars.
