Method for High PR Inbound Links

Hey gang!

I just figured this little combo out, which is a modification of tactics I've learned from others. I've learned a lot from the WF (long-time lurker), and thought I'd give a little back!

The Basics:

- Identify DoFollow Blogs, ranked by PR, and make comment posts

I know...nothing new about making DoFollow comments for link building. It's just that this technique sorts them by Page Rank or Popularity.

The How-To:

Before you begin, visit google.com, click Advanced, and change your settings to display 100 results, then save the configuration. (You'll see why later.)

Step One: download and install SEOQuake plugin for Firefox browser (SeoQuake - extension for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers). It's free. And it adds important information to Google Search results display, such as that pages PR, number of inbound links, number of indexed pages on various search engines, etc.

Step Two: visit DoFollow Diver (DoFollow Diver - The Premier DoFollow Blogs Search Engine), which is the best DoFollow search engine I've found. I know there are others, but this seems to be the best. Enter your keyword phrase related to your niche in the search box and click Search.

Step Three: --IMPORTANT -- with your SEOQuake plugin activated (the little icon at the bottom of your browser will be colored, not grayed out), scroll to the bottom of the results and click the 'More Results..' link. The default display for DoFollow does not let SEOQuake collect the Page Rank info, but when you click 'More Results', it uses the standard Google results display (which will let SEOQuake give the added info).

Step Four: click the 'Request Parameters' button. Give it some time to collect all the added data on each link.

Step Five: At the top of the results, look for a 'Sort', and click the Google PR sort DOWN arrow. This sorts the displayed results by Page Rank, highest to lowest. (Now you know why we wanted 100 results to be displayed!)

There you have it! A list of sites waiting for your comments, prioritized by page rank.

It's a free method to generate some inbound links from some high PR sites.

Visit each site and look at the comments others have left. If you still have SEOQuake on, you can set it to put a line through 'rel=nofollow' links. (right-click the SEOQuake icon to set the option) Make sure that the blog is still DoFollow (some of them change over time). Especially make sure you can post with something other than your actual name.

If the blog allows it, instead of your NAME, use the keyword for which you want the anchor text. (The comments convert your name into the link to your site, so make sure it is anchor text you want!)

Couple of notes:
1. please don't spam. make relevant comments.
2. please don't spam. it's worth repeating.

That's it!

Hope it helps!
