Is there any certain tactics one should make or do when his chosen niche site name/topic is very difficult to rank but the specific items and "buyers keywords" he is promoting are easy in terms of competetition?

I know a lot of niche sites try to lure people in by the names or purpose of there site. Such as, "best ceiling fans". However my domain name/topic is way too competetive. I think I will have to get traffic via specific product models.

So if the target page review was for "MaxSpin OT400 Ceiling Fan". I am using multiple keywords such as MaxSpin OT400 Ceiling Fan, Maxspin OT400, Maxspin Ceiling Fan, OT400, OT400 Ceiling Fan.

Besides this what else can I do, on page SEO wise for traffic?

It is difficult if the there are already giants there for competition. If the keyword is less competitive then some good backlinks may help you to rank. You can outsource backlinking, search Fiverr for that.

  Im new to IM so when you say backlinking through fiverr. Is that where some guy posts like 50 of my websites url links on various, blogs, sites, forums etc?
  
  Also am I backlinking only my homepage url or the actual review articles
