Web2.0 Strategy

Just out of interest, does this still work? Your money site having pointed at it a blog site (not a web2.0 site, a proper paid hosted website, not a sub-domain) which has 10 good quality (5 pages or more) web2.0s pointed at it, with each of those web2.0s with a further 10 good quality web2.0s each pointed at them. Will the link from the paid hosted blog site to my money site be considered a powerful enough link in the eyes of Google?

My only concern is that all my tier 3 web2.0s will be younger than the tier 2 web2.0s they will point at which in turn will be younger than the paid hosted blog. Is this a red flag with Google? Does this type of tiered linking still work? Should I work other types of backlinks into the tiers, after all I have heard that link diversification is a myth?

Thanks in advance,
Seamy

    • Don't see how this is spam. All of the blogs used with offer something of value. Unique content, well written use of video plus images. All manually created.
    • may I ask how creating web 2.0 properties on those authority web 2.0 sites like tumblr, blog, live journal considered to be spamming?!

  • Thought someone with a bit of authority could weigh in on this one. Come on people!! ;-)
  • you can use web 2.0 websites for link wheeling.
  • Post your content on do-follow web2.0 property and at last please create a link wheel to connect all your web 2.0 property.
