    sooner or later, your site will be indexed. the key thing is: how to be the top result of your keyword.

    According to our own internal testing, there is no "fast" way to get indexed in the organic search engine results. Depending on subject popularity and current inventory of content already in the serps, it can take 1 week to 6 months for indexing to take place.

    But that's only part of the problem. You have to get ranked as well. This is where external links back to your site or blog come in. We have found that a few well-placed links on related sites are superior to a bunch of links coming from unrelated sites. And the text in the link is also important. Make sure it contains a keyword you want to be ranked for.

    Speaking of link text, don't use things like "continue", "read more", etc. on your internal site links. If you do, these will end up in the search engines. Use keyword phrases instead.

    But surely there must a limit to the number of times your keywords should appear on your site. Else google could penalise you.

    There is a guy I hire on another forum that will submit my link to 100 social bookmarking sites. My sites are indexed within 24 hours of placing the order (depending on how quickly he gets started). Social bookmarking will do the job.
