How to Set Up BingAds Tracking with Prosper202

Hello all,

So I know that BingAds has a conversion tracking system set up where you create a goal and steps, etc, and then use the code they give you to place on your page and then monitor analytics that way.

My question: How can I get this info also to work with Prosper202?

I'm new to conversion tracking and Prosper202 really but am confused how to go about setting this up. I already have Prosper installed on my server, and I have campaign ready to test I just need to get the tracking set up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Forget the BingAds conversion script. Are you working with a CPA network? If so Prosper202 will provide you with a global post back URL and tracking pixel. Pick one or the other, it's speculated that the global postback URL is more accurate. Anyways, you put that into your CPA dashboard, and it'll ping prosper202 whenever you get a conversion.

In step 7 on prosper you select all the variables, this is where you will get your link - this is your destination URL for your ads. In order for prosper202 to properly track your keywords, you need to use this URL that they give you.

the end of your URL should say " &t202kw= "

with no spaces, directly after that equals sign, you can put " {keyword} "
Or, you can leave it blank and enable keyword tracking on your advertiser account. Either way, it will allow the keywords to be passed through to your prosper account.

    Hope that helps!

Need any more help shoot me an email

**Update - If you leave it blank and the keywords aren't passed through, try deleting the &t202kw= piece. I'm not positive about how that works with bing but that's what we have to do with LeadImpact.**

So this is actually not through a CPA network. I did just get accepted into MaxBounty today and so within the next few days I will be running some offers from there and a couple other places.

My final conversion step will actually be a purchase in PayPal AFTER I get them to sign up for submitting their email. A pretty long conversion process and kind of hard to track, but here is how I was planning to do it with BingAds and so maybe if I explain how I was intending to do it that way it will be easier to figure out how to do it with Prosper.

      Here are steps to sale:

      1. Customer Clicks on Ad
      2. Customer Submits Email and Goes to Thank You Page from EmailSubmit
      3. Customer Gets and Confirms Email and Receives Link to Sales Page
      4. Customer Clicks purchase button and pays in PayPal
      5. Customer is Sent to Final thank you page for purchase

Here is how I was planning on tracking via Bing (but would like to use prosper instead)

      1. Landing Tracking Code goes on Main Landing Page
      2. Tracking Code for Email Submit goes on custom "Thank You Page" for Subscribing
      3. Conversion Tracking Code on Custom Thank You Page that buyers will be sent to after paying for it in PayPal

So, any idea how I would set that up within Prosper?

I guess I would use the global post back URL for the link to the landing page (which if left blank would track keywords from BingAds)

But as far as the email submit and then the separate landing page with sale conversion that's where I'm confused...

Should I maybe just leave it in Bing? I'd prefer to use Prosper if possible though...

        So,

You're essentially building a list, and then the follow up email is the sales offer?

Yeah, I guess that's probably the best way to say it.

Ahh..I think I am figuring it out. I created my destination URL and am making a pixel that I can place on the "please click link in email to subscribe" page so as to track the email submits also.

For steps or paths lead funnel type campaigns, I like using bevomedia and imobitrax. there both easy to setup and track unlimited pages for your funnel conversion

Hmm, I'll definitely have to check them out. I just did get the prosper tracking set up so when they do an email submit it's a conversion...but I'll look into those other tracking sites you mentioned.

I'm on the same boat and would really appreciate if anyone can tell me if I did it right. Here is my situation...

1.- I have Prosper202 installed on my hosting correctly.
2.- I have a PeerFly offer I'm promoting that does not allow to add a tracking pixel. Only Postback.
3.- I'm using Bing for traffic.

My Prosper202 universal postback URL that I added to my Peerfly account (which has an option for adding a universal postback URL) is...

    http://track.dineromaker.com/trackin...subid=%subid1%

And the URL I created that I put on my Bing AdCenter Ad is...

    http://track.dineromaker.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=488&c1=Desktop&t202kw={keyword}

I installed Prosper202 on a subdomain called "track" which replaces www.

I want to be able to know what keywords convert. Is this correct? No traffic yet as it is a new campaign and it takes a few hours for it to start coming in. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you and God bless.
