Hi again!

I have this blog that in November I bought the domain: hxxp://www.como-ganar-masa-muscular-rapido.com and some people told me that can be penalized by Google. Is that true?

  • Domain names are not an exact science. People still debate emd's. Content and backlinks is still the main aim.
  • There are very successful and well known sites with hyphens in them and they certainly aren't penalised.

That domain is so long you'll never get repeat traffic, nobody will remember that.

    • What do you recommend? Should I change that domain for another shorter?

  • As yukon said. The domain won't be penalized. But good luck getting repeat traffic. I think consumers may see shorter "branded" names as more authority like sites... could be wrong though.
  • That domain name is not going to be penalized by Google, but who will remember or use that kind of domain name?Always use eye catchy and easy pronounceable domain names..
  • The first point is that your domain name looks odd..too long, not at all attractive and even not easy to remember..as suggestions are given above..always use your domain name for branding purpose..make it worthy to remember..
