What's the best internal link structure?

Hi all,

I have read lots about silo sites and how important internal link structure is to SERPS.

I have set up a new site recently and am building up my content. My site is of a silo type structure. As an example lets say my site is about Samsung LCD tvs.
My site structure would be as follows.

My main site page is focused on the broad term

Samsung LCD TVs

I then have a category for each tv size as follows

Samsung 32 inch tvs (this is a page with content)

Within each category I the have pages for each tv type with details and user reviews.

Pages within a category all link to each other. This is done by putting a link at the bottom of the page with the full article title and nothing else. No other links..I do not ling pages within a category to other categories or pages associated with other categories.

Is this overall approach the best one? Should I be putting links within the content of each page? Should I be focussing anchor text on keyword terms rather than just putting full title of page? Would appreciate your advice as would like to get the setup right.

Thanks

Yes the setup is correct - its a non-daisy chained silo architecture (the best type)

It may be going wrong here though:
Pages within a category all link to each other. This is done by putting a link at the bottom of the page with the full article title and nothing else. No other links

If you have a list of all the other sibling pages - then no problem - but if you have a next-previous article linking system - then that's not user friendly

Re. whether to use title or keywords for links - I use titles - but the Wikipedia type keyword anchor text method is very powerful for SEO - just that it looks terrible on the page

This is how I do it:
siloplugin.com (3 level deep silo site)
    Signature

Automatic WordPress Silo Site Plugin and Theme Packages (siloplugin.com)

Thanks - any idea of how many articles you should have targeting a keyword in your silo?

Yes - everybody's agreed on that one - you need a minimum of 5 articles to support the theme of a silo landing page
