Help - SEO Question

I have a site that ranks in the number one position outside of Canada for a keyword but I would like to have that site rank strong in Canadian or my local market on Google... Any suggestions on how I could achieve this?

    Hey there,

    There are a few methods to help (not guarantee) rankings in a particular country.

    • One is to have your site hosted in the country (very minimal help but helps all the same)
    • You can use Google Webmaster tools to Geo Target the site to the country
    • Probably one of the best ways to help boost your rankings in a particular country is to get inbound links from sites that are hosted there

    Analysis site backlinks, site hosting country and keywords. Try to include CA/Canada in prime keywords.
    Develop backlinks from canadian sites.
    Try to get listed in local listing in Canada and optimize it.

    Why not just run adwords there? You can geotarget adwords down to any area you want.
