Watches e-store with strong niche competition

Hello,
I know, its quite an old theme, but I would like to get some advice from real humans, and not from internet sources.
So: swiss watch e-store with about 3000 product sortment.
In TOP 10 there are sites with PR 2-4 and 3-10 years old.
I understand, if I put my effort for the main and very competitive KW, it will take a lot of time and money to get in the first 5.
What would You guys advice to start with? Does somebody have any experience, may be?
