Hey warriors... Been a minute since I made a real contribution here.
Lifes been pretty amazing. This internet lifestyle/business dream is REAL
if you're really willing to work on your business and more so yourself.

And at the age of only 22 I feel like I'm just getting started!

Long story short I asked my business partner to help me do some
videos to show you some of the cool things we've done to grow our niche
businesses fast. It's a true BEHIND the scenes look at how we grew NICHE
businesses.

ExpertCoaching.net: Free Information (NO OPT IN)

We also have one of the fastest growing clothing sites on the internet.
It started with nothing, now its been all over the media, in music videos,
live performances, etc.. This business went from a room above a garage
to a 3500 square ft printing facility!

In 2007 I started a website with just an ebook and a salesletter in the music
production niche. Now it's the #1 site in music production. The biggest list,
superstar music producers endorse it, been all over the media. And we have a full catalog of products now ranging from self development to how to sell beats.

But here are a few facts that you might not know.

1. Started with 0 lists
2. Didn't have any JVs or friends with big list
3. We grew it through effective and innovative internet marketing
4. Bootstrapped it with no capital
5. I'm world famous within the music production industry as a result

Whatever niche you're in the first thing you have to understand is
you need to stop fighting for crumbs. Don't go into your
niche with a mentality of "I just want to scrape by". (That's if you
want the big bucks).

Always think expansion. So we had to really think outside the box
on this business, because we didn't want to grow it slowly and
linear like we have been conditioned to think .

There are 3 major factors that were critical to the success of
liveoffbeats.com

1. Banners
2. Media
3. Video

Banners:

When everyone was saying "banners were dead" I was killing
it. Banners are still VERY effective if you know how to use
them correctly.

A tip when using banners is to stop trying to make them look
fancy and right off the bat target your market.

Since we were targeting producers the banner would say
"MAKE BEATS"

right away that targets a specific group of people. IF you
don't make beats, then you're going to ignore the banner completely.

Then we use a call to action. "Click Here To Sell Them".

We get right in our prospects head. We know that producers have
a tendency to make lots of beats and can't seem to get them sold.

So try that in whatever niche your in - target your banners.
We also do that for our clothing
and business. Again it has been very effective for us.

It does not matter what you banner says - it matters
how your targeted customer perceives it! Success is
in the eye of the beholder!

Media

This has to be one of the most OVERLOOKED traffic generation
methods of all time. Probably because everything in the IM niche is
pretty much regurgitation of something someone else said. No real
innovation.

I really never hear any gurus or experts talk about the media, which
confuses me.

Anyways there are huge content/authority sites, radio shows,
TV shows, Magazines, blogs, etc, in your niche and you can use them to get
massive traffic for FREE.

We really started hitting the media circuit hard. A trick for getting media
attention is becoming friends with writers on these sites etc...

Getting media attention is an art form. Nobody wants to hear "I have
a site up, do a story on it" but they like to hear how great they are
and how much you value them and what they have done for your popular
website.

The way we do it is give them something to write about that has
nothing to do with yourself or your website. Give them a heads up
on something new thats happening. They need that.

Something you have to realize is that these journalists get paid
to write stories about companies and websites like yours ... that is
their job!

Give them a story and usually they'll gladly return the favor with interviews etc...

Again this has worked for us over and over again. and has resulted
in us being on some of the biggest media in the hip hop industry.

1 interview in the right media can take you from 0 to 1000's of hits
in 15 minutes.

Again this isn't "THEORY" we actually do this... and have witnessed this
in our businesses.

The media is very effective because it makes you seem like an authority
and gives you credibility off the bat. That is the biggest factor of marketing
and selling - TRUST!

I know they don't talk about this in those "pie in the sky" $47 marketing books. haha.

Video

For us video has been the most powerful tool to date. Everything
we do has video. It has increased our conversions like crazy, traffic,
and everything in between.

The greatest thing is I'm now famous in my niche because of it.

I recently went to the biggest music production conference
of the year... And to my surprise people knew who I was and
were just flocking to me, telling me how my site changed their lives.

Pretty cool stuff. Hard to believe it seems like yesterday I was
a kid in South Central, Los Angeles in the heart of the ghetto
and now I'm a "LEGEND" as some of them put it - and changing
lives in the process.

The key for us in video is for transparency.

I build a relationship by letting them see me out in the streets. Daily
life. What I do when I'm not standing in front of a whiteboard.

That's my biggest tip for people looking to do video. People want to
see you. [b]The real you[b]... Your life etc... We do instructional videos in front
of white-boards also... But for transparency try to get shots of you out
and about doing regular human stuff.

Like going to the grocery store, or on your daily routine doing cool things.
Like one of my most popular videos is me at the gun range giving tips.

All very powerful stuff. And all you need is a digital camera. Doing video
is easy and doesn't cost much, maybe $100 and you're in business.

I'll close it with saying marketing is KEY in succeeding in internet
business. Just having a website and a product ISN'T marketing.

Sitting down and really ironing out a solid marketing plan has proved
valuable for us. What is your character going to be? How will you
position yourself in your market? What are the characteristics
your prospects share. Who is your ideal prospect. Why would they
buy from you and not your competition... etc.

Lots of things to really sit and think about.

Also don't forget to work on yourself along the way. Your business
won't outgrow YOU. And if it does, you'll screw it up. (I had to learn
the hard way haha).

You're subconscious mind is on survival/comfort mode at all times... and being
rich and prosperous and doing extraordinary things is not comfortable for
most of us. You need to realize this before you can become successful in anything.

Anyways stay blessed and remember everythings going to be alright.
You'll make it as long as you put helping others and adding value to
their lives first and foremost.

Also check out these videos that we did that goes in depth showing you
how we took all our sites from 0 to top of the industry in no time at all:

    Daniel,

When you said you were becoming friends with media writers, were you becoming friends on the internet or did you have live interaction by living in Los Angeles?

Such a shame that Greg's one of the most unwatchable people I've ever seen in a vid - at least in the first few mins (of vid #1); he fidgets, rarely looks in the camera lens, and in one place, snorts/grunts which I thought was horrible

Looks a good model tho, so I'll have to overcome the irritations and watch through!

    Wowwww man, Great stuff.
I took it really personal. I had music production site iwth over 100,000 page views a month and 4,000 registered users.
I also had a huge budget and i still didn't saw the potential and moved to another business.
