Finished Site Some Concerns

Submitted my site via google xml 2 days ago. I also used a RSS submitter to 20 sites, as well as a website ping submitter to about 200 sites via IM talk.

All my landing pages are on page 6 of google for their keywords, but my homepage is not anywhere to be found, even when searching for (site title). I remember by home page was indexed the first day but now it is gone.

1) Does this look like a penalty or is this normal

2) What should I do now to build Natural back links?

    Did you try:
    • site:domain.com
    • site:www.domain.com

    • Yea my homepage is visible if I do that, however it is just nowhere to be found if I use the title, which is was a day or two ago: ex: barbeque review guy

    2 days? That's not long enough for your site to show up by name especially if it's a commonly used search term with just the word "guy" on the end.
