Is it blackhat of me, that when creating blogger blogs, in the sidebar I have realted links, that are my own sites..

I have done it on one blog already.

I plan to make another blog and do the same again.

Is this blackhat.. I don't see how it should be, but maybe it is.

No not the same contne, it's a blog realted to the niche that my other blogs are on, only a help blog specifically aimed at helping people.

I just hope it's not blackhat.

  • I don´t think so. Why shouldn´t you be allowed to link to your other blogs? The links probably will only count less.

No man, that's ain't blackhat, imho.
But to have SEO benefit for the links, make sure that they're niche-related and hosted in different C class IP.
    just my two cents.

I don't think that is black hat, I am sure that would be very helpful on the words of SEO, That means, you are increasing total number of Inbound links to your other sites.... So, no harm man.....

I didn't even do it with the aim to use it as an SEO method, I started using blogger and seen the range of customizations I could do, and what's better than to have promotions for my own materials on every page.

I guess it's not a problem, if Google think so I'm screwed, but I'm sure they can't penalise for this.

No, people do this all the time. Just make sure you add a few others so that you are not ONLY linking to your sites. I have links to my others sites (part of my profile), and have had no repercussions from it.

It's OK. Not blackhat at all in my opinion. BTW, if you ask this question to yourself, you are not doing blackhat at all. If you are, you would not ask this kind of questions? Do blackhatt-ers ask themselves: is this a blackhat? :-)

When I think about something is black hat or not, I ask myself, if someone does not know SEO would do the same?

This is definitely something people would do. If you create many blogs just for fun, then wouldn't you link to other blogs for people to find other blogs?

And in this my definition, even a lot of "white hat" SEO is blackhat. No one who doesn't know SEO wouldn't put links with anchor text of your keyword on purpose! :p
