Is it considered SPAM?

Hi all you guys,

I wonder to know whether it's SPAM or not?

My situation: I've created many unique content for my website and i use them to post to many other forums to get backlinks. Is it SPAM? Will Google penaltize me?

I want to know it because my website's ranking is from 2nd to 18th position. I don't buy links.

  • When you say content what are you referring to?

    • For example if you are posting comment to a thread in a forum and you have a link in your signature and your posting comment relevant to your niche it isn't spam.
      When I say "relevant" I mean something that is useful to others in that particular niche or a good question.

      If your posting an article to a blog or submitting to an article directory make sure it is good content. "good Content" is useful and relevant information.

      For example: You write an article about dog tricks, you would then post that article on a blog that has to do with dogs, dog training, etc.

      ** Don't post an article about dog training on a site that has to do with smartphones.**

  • See, you can't just look at it from a Google spam point of view. Your first audience of peer review is the owners of the sites that you build your content/links on.

  • Forums can trigger penalties.

    You need to describe your links more though. Are they blatant xrumer style spam links? Forum profiles? What exactly.
  • Hi, If you are taking content from your web page then ofcourse your are making your unique content into duplicate. Whenever you do any post use unique content and informative content.

      I ask this question because the ranking of my website's been dropped from 2nd to 20th. I'm worrying about this.

  • yes google consider spam this way of content so try to write your own different one and submit. that content does not attract viewers also.
  • While posting on forum don't put your link in signature either you can add link in text keyword.
