Which Comes First: Apply to Google Adsense or Submit My Sitemap?

Hi,

Quick questions...
  1. I'm new to creating niche websites and wish to monetize them via Google Adsense. I have only 5 or 6 posts on my first site that I've started recently and I've already submitted my sitemap to Google. I read that the best way to get approved for Google Adsense was to finish about 10 posts (then publish them), apply to Google Adsense, then submit my sitemap to the search engines. Seeing that I've already submitted my sitemap before I applied to Google Adsense or finished all 10 posts, do I risk not getting approved?
  2. For my future niche sites, is it best to write all 10 posts first before publishing them or is it ok to publish posts one at a time?
  3. How often should you submit your sitemap to search engines? Just once? Every 4 or 5 posts?
  4. Will/can Google choose not to rank a new site if I check my ranks every now & then with a keyword research tool like LTP? I'm trying to perfect the indexing & ranking strategy without getting slapped by Google.
Thank you for all your help.

    1. When you submit your sitemap has nothing to do with getting approved with adsense.

By the way, on a side note it's very hard to get approved with adsense by submitting your own brand new website that has no traffic. If you don't get approved you might want to try making a free blog at Blogspot.com. Google owns it. Then apply for adsense through your blogspot account. Make sure you have about 5 high quality articles on the blog and add an image to each post. Then, in the about me section put in real contact info (or at least whatever name address and phone you will use when applying for adsense). When you get reviewed by adsense they will know that a real human made the blog and will probably accept you into the adsense program. Then you can put adsense on your websites with the same adsense account.

    2. The answer to question number 2 has to do with how you get traffic. If you are doing seo it's best to publish all articles at once so your site will have maximum relevance. That dripfeeding pages or posts into the future is nonsense. Doesn't help with rankings but can hurt.

If you apply to adsense with a 2 page site you will not get accepted.

    3. I build a new sitemap using google xml sitemaps every time i add content but i think it updates automatically. Depends on which sitemap plugin you're using.

    4. What is LTP? I use CCleaner and Hide my ass when checking rankings. I will clear my cookies with Ccleaner. Then change IP's in HMA. Then check rankings that way.

No google will not penalize your website if you keep checking your rankings. But they will give you false results if you don't clean your cookies or if you're logged into your gmail account.

Besides the 10 posts make sure to have a contact page and a privacy policy that specifically mentions the Google advertising program.

One has nothing to do with the other. Go ahead and submit your sitemap. If your website is newly created then give it sometime before you apply for Google Adsense. Put up good content, and get some traffic rolling in.
    Hope this helps.

Like Jrivera680 said, it doesn't matter, a sitemap has nothing to do with Adsense.

Build traffic to your site, then monetize it.
