Would You Buy This?

Would you pay the price of registration ($10) for a 6-year old domain that has a single pr5 backlink (~35 OBLs)? This is the only link the site has and it isn't going anywhere either. Of course, for $10 it's not the money that is the issue, but whether it would be useful for backlinking purposes or not.

  Sure, do the research but beyond that if the guy can't afford to lose $10 he's in the wrong business.

He's not in the wrong business. The question he asked was very fair, regardless of the money he's putting in.

It could be $1000, the question still remains the same -- will this benefit him or not. Everybody can GUESS, but the guy came here for advice from those who know something.
