I understand that grammar and SEO both are important for content. But how may check the grammar, is there any free website which can check my grammer?

  • Yes, Microsoft word is helpful, while you are writing on the word documents, it automatically keep checking your content. Beside this, there are lots of free tools available in the search engine to check the grammar issues.

  • I'd definitely recommend writing you content in a word processing program before you post it. There are even free alternatives to Microsoft Word like Open Office.

  • MS Word will do a passable job but it is nowhere near perfect and at times will encourage you to do something wrong. However, it's better than nothing.

If you are writing to an English audience and English isn't your first language - or you are one of those N Americans that read/write at a grade 4 level - trust me, it's dead easy for the rest of us to spot.

Do you have a friend that speaks English as a first language and has a good command of it? I would suggest getting them to proof your stuff for you. Assuming they have a better grasp of grammar than MS Word does. Hope that helps.

  • I use this tool:

Check Spelling, Style, and Grammar with After the Deadline
English is my 3rd language, and to be honest, this tool has been very helpful.

That said, nothing helps more than writing and learning as you go along. When I compare my blog posts from 3 years ago to now, I am amazed and embarrassed.

Again, don't just rely on tools though. No tool can catch every mistake, and sometimes they may even suggest wrong stuff.

I now try to proofread my stuff at least 3 times. Sure, it takes longer, but the chances of mistakes going unnoticed is much less.

  • SEO work is to find the websites to submit on and build relationships. If you are a SEO submitter, Grammer check and other tasks must be handled by proper content writer. That's what i recommend. Suppose you write 2 articles a day. Then you would submit it to 2 websites. You have to find them too. So it becomes little impossible because there is a huge competition.
  • Microsoft Word very helpfull

  • I only use MS Word for checking grammatical errors. Not that perfect but atleast there are suggestions and I can easily spot an error if there is. Find someone who can proofread your work and re-read your article atleast 3 times before you publish it.
