Hi guys, I have a website with categories such as android tutorials, android programming, Linux etc. Many of the keywords are ranking in top position until Friday (1/12). Almost all rankings dropped in the past two days. They are still in Google search but pushed to second and third pages. I have a article which topped in search results for 4 months also dropped. I have no Idea what went wrong. Please help me to recover.

    Hello,

If you noticed a sudden drop in ranking and traffic, there you might have been hit by a Google penalty.

I would suggest you take a look at your webmaster tool ,if there is a notification about a penalty.

If there is none, then you might want to track back your progress to the period you noticed the drop and see if you have not been violating any search engine guidelines

If your site ranking drop down suddenly and after few days its status is same then offcourse your site is hit by google penalty.
    a. check the backlinks status of your site
    b. check the content of your site.

There's very little info here, and the question is very broad. Take your Analytics records, SERP trackers and other information you can find, stare at them for a couple of hours, and try to come up with explanations. If you can't do that, hire someone who can.

I'm not sure how people can say that it certainly was a Google penalty. I would say that it wasn't unless you can prove it. However, Google is changing their algorithms all the time. Results may just be fluctuating a bit, or they may turn for worse permanently.

I'd guess that if your site was on the first page without any nasty tricks you can get it back there.

Moz, Ahrefs and Majestic SEO are the most well-known backlink checking services.

Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Please don't. I'm not willing to do this kind of work for free, and I'm definitely not able to take any new clients on January. There's forum called "Wanted - members looking to hire you" where you can post a request. Or maybe someone else is willing to take a peek.

Both Majestic and Ahrefs are easy to use, but of course you need to draw your own conclusions from the results you get. Ahrefs might be better for spotting questionable backlinks. Majestic's Skype/phone introduction to their system was absolutely top notch.

Oh, you did send me a list of links. I'd suggest you to try one of the web services listed above instead.

I'm assuming the domain in the file name is yours. Are you aware of your domain's previous life? It seems that it's been hosting either cracked software or illegal serial numbers from 2002 to 2008. Someone more experienced than me can tell you if this is a problem, but I wouldn't touch such a domain myself.

You've got some backlinks, but there could be more quality ones. I guess if you're posting good content, that problem will solve itself eventually.
