Google keyword planner

So I'm back in the game of learning IM and I noticed the change in the Google Keyword tool to the planner.

Only thing I'm confused about is, where is broad match and phrase match? They only make you get the exact match now? Are the broad and phrase match important anymore then?

You should always want to use exact anyhow. This should be a blessing for you

I can't think of the last time I even really worried about broad or phrase match, TBH.

They're gone for search volumes, but are still there for PPC metrics.

Broad and phrase match search volume NEVER had any importance.
