Goarticles.com- Quality backlink

I have query about the backlink that we get from goarticles.com which is considered as one of the top article submission website that provides quality backlink for the website. The main query that I have is that I normally give link to the brand name in different variations i.e. "xyz.com", "xyz","click here" in the author bio content to ensure that it will not be penalized from over optimization, I have seen in Goarticles that many are giving backlinks to the exact match keywords, is that a right way to do that according the updates of Google.

  • I give you an idea, first go to google and enter your keyword, get the url at the #1 position. Then spy their data with http://ahrefs.com/ learn how your competitor ranked on the first. What type of backlink, and how they divert etc...

  • Don't get links from Goarticles.com, my site received unnatural link warning and the example listed was Goarticles.com

    Article directories are dead.
  • Sites like this are a load of crap, no offense to them but its a money grabbing scheme with crap quality links.

    You want high authority sites with a decent DA/PA / PR. Lot's of options here on the warrior forum, dont buy into the LOTS OF DIVERSITY crap, all you get is 100's of wiki links that are useless.

  • Not just GoArticles but choose other similar article directories and add a few (say 2-3) articles per directory site and also with some variation in anchor text (if possible).
  • I would say that a link from GoArticles will have little value. Links from article directories, making use of exact match keywords within anchor text, will undoubtedly leave you open to a Penguin penalty, particularly when done on a large scale.
  • Google now gives little value to article directories except few. try not to use exact keywords when posting on the directories if you have to.
  • A good quality negative SEO link and nothing more.

    This isn't 2010 anymore, the days of spray and pray directory submissions are over.

    Somebody on forums are stating that backlinks from goarticles are spam is it true ?? Can any of the warriors conform or deny that !!

  • i suggest you create the hyper link on your social profile and brand name. Do not focus on link with specific keywords base.
  • i think we create backlink for brand name, that will be beneficial for future.
  • Add 3 links on your article with different word which related to your website...

    and you can analyses yourself and your competitors with ahrefs or OpensiteExplorer . org
  • goarticle + ezinearticle both website are awesome for submitting articles and they also provide quality based backlink.
  • Randomize your anchor text. If you've already submitted randomized anchor to other sites and you have low overall exact match keyword anchor, go for exact match in goarticles
