Question with Google and Affiliate Links

Hello, I just started ranking a bit on some posts and I'm basically just writing random unique content and putting affiliate links in where necessary (just about every post I have one) and it is relevant to the article. If I keep doing this will Google penalize my website? or are they just looking for strictly unique content.

    What do you mean when you say "random unique content"? Is this good quality copy, or are you just writing in order to stuff it full of keywords?

      By random I mean that I'm targeting random niches, not just one. The content is very good and unique and I'm hoping that even with affiliate links, it will rank good.

        I have a niche site which has over 30 reviews, with 4 amazon affiliate links each and most reviews are on page 1 so I wouldn't worry buddy.

            If your targeting low comp keywords you might want to build just a few High PR links pointing to your homepage of your website if it's new. It will help rank your pages better in general, I always do this with new niche websites.

            Just gets them kicking off in the right direction and helps to build your websites authority quite quickly.
