Hey everyone,

I started my self improvement blog two weeks ago. I am using the All in one Seo plugin for Wordpress.

I maybe get 2 unique visitors a day with google organic search and my goal (of course) is to get more visitors to my blog. Are the number of visitors low because I deliver a lot of different articles / topics on my website? Is it because I haven't specified my blog into maybe two or three main topics?

Does someone maybe have a good All in one Seo plugin guide? I don't really know if I am using the plugin to it's fullest potential.

My blog website is hxxp://www.coolconfident.com

I hope someone will help me out!

Start with the blog commenting and guest blogging side by side to get some high quality relevant backlinks.

Haven't analysed the competition. What's the best way to do that?

The domain is 2.5 weeks old.

Your on-page SEO needs help, doubtful any plugin will make that happen.

Why is the text Latest Posts important enough to be wrapped in an <h1> tag?

I guess my wordpress theme makes the H1 tags.

Change it in the theme template files.

You are focusing mainly on your On-Site SEO. Off-ste SEO is equally important. I suggest you search google for "ways to drive traffic to your site" to learn more about how you can drive more visitors to your site.

I kind of disagree... I'm sure most will agree with you though. On page optimization in my opinion is the most important thing you can do. When you're actively blogging, there are plenty of long tail keywords that you can rank for simply due to good on page.

It's a good site and theme to use social networks to get traffic with... I'd start actually interacting with influential twitter users and bloggers in the niche, get known. Then make inroads for tweets, links, etc.

As far as organic search, your site is a wreck.

I'd take a moment and decide on a direction. If you are absolutely sure SEO will be your source of traffic, you've got a lot to do. I'll have to look at this on a desktop to be sure the navigation does serve differently on an ipad, but getting your internal linking/navigation handled would be my first concern.

I don't see any SEO 'hero' articles which is something you will definitely want if you're going to stick with your current content strategy.

It's not that your content is bad, it just seems to lack keywords in headings, etc. It's great for humans - which again is why I'm suggesting finding other non-SEO sources.

Basically you're driving a pink car but want a green one instead. ... That analogy makes sense to me anyways...

Try to fix the SEO issues that other commenters have identified. Blog commenting is probably quite useless, but you need backlinks. This far it seems that you only have the nofollows from WF. I'm sure other users can give you suggestions on that, but I'd try to find followers from social media. I'd also try guest posting.

BTW, your recent article ends this way: "Winners are mad, not born." Made me laugh.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
