How to outsource backlinking?

Hi guys,

Hope you're doing well.

I've been doing a lot of research on back-linking and have learned the basics of it. Now I would like to outsource it overseas.

Any advice as to where I should look to getting the back linking outsourced for my blog?

    When you say you understand the basics of backlinking, what kind of backlinking did you study?

    • What I have learned about backlinking is that you need links pointing back to your site showing the anchor text of the keywords you want to target.

      I bought Angela's $5 WSO and started doing the linking myself. The challenge is that it is very time consuming.

      I'm looking for someone to do this linking for me (20 links per month) and preferably do a lot more from their own list or high ranking sites that they find.

      I know that Angela has a service for $150 per month but I have a feeling that I could get this outsourced for $50. $150 is more than I want to spend.

      Any advice?

  • My advice: Save your time, save the risk, and know the job's going to get done the right way. When you try to outsource overseas to India or the Philippines from job sites, you really never know what you're going to get until you find the right person.

    I'd much rather go ahead and use a service that's proven and you can trust the person, even if it costs a little more. If you know what you're doing, then a price like $150 is a drop in the bucket. ...If you don't know what you're doing, then you shouldn't outsource at all or you'll lose money no matter what.

  • I used a service at one time to build backlinks, cost me about $80 I think (from memory) and came nowhere near to providing the number of backlinks promised. Now no service can guarantee that the links will be accepted or even stick long term, but these seemed to be fairly haphazard and had very little effect.

    You are better off doing it yourself, or paying a little extra and using a service (like Angela and Pauls) that has a good reputation.

    Edit: Another thought.

    Another possibility, is to hire a virtual assistant (someone who works for you over the internet) and train them to do the backlinking in the way that you prefer. The advantage of this is that you can have them perform other duties related to the operation of your websites without having to re-outsource.

    There's quite a lot about this in Tim Ferris' book, The Four Hour Work Week, however he uses a much more extreme approach to VA's. They manage pretty much his whole life. Impractical or not, worth a read.

  • I bought one of those WSO packets and then posted on Odesk that I wanted help. I got over 50 replies in a single day. I went with a guy in Bangladesh with a high rating at $1.50/hr. He later asked me for a raise and I plan to raise him to $2.20 very soon.

    I sent him the packet and list of sites I want backlinked along with keywords. He's working on it and sends me reports daily. This task is quite easy to outsource since it's easy to teach.

  • back links to your site is utmost important for getting high rank for your blog,having basic knowledge your can apply every needed tactics for getting link juice and follow-through to your site rather then outsource............
  • I just keep paying some college kid on oDesk to go through the list at onewaytextlink.com and submit to all the directories up to #1000 for me. I figure 20 bucks for 1000 backlinks is amazing. I for one am shocked people will work for so little money. And considering I'll make that much the next day it works pretty well haha.

  • Make sure if you do outsource it - look for someone's reputation and see if you can talk to people that they have worked for in the past - I have heard horror stories about this.

    I have been doing her backlinks myself for about the last 6 months..and I can do 20 per day in about 40 minutes..the whole 30 in about an hour...her links have gotten a lot easier with just profile linking..its super easy and fast...if you just keep plugging away you can get faster and faster till it only takes a few minutes out of your day..I wouldnt trust anyone with this kind of work..its way too important of a task to outsource..just my opionion though! good luck to all!

    • I agree with mike here on this ... unless you take the time to screen and build a level of trust with these folks. If they are doing linkbuilding - they are also likely mildly interested in the IM niche. As of yesterday ... I trust very few IM's.

      You are entrusting them with your business ... your keywords your optimization - and potentially your reputation.

      1. Your cheap outsourcer may be your next competitor. They now see exactly how you do or do not make $$$.

      2. Spammy shortcuts just to generate a little report for you as a fast as possible doesnt mean they did the job right and in a way that keeps these links alive for the long term.

      Imagine the profiles getting hit with 20 of their other clients on the same pages as you? Or they group your links in with their client who pimps Penis Pumps and Viagra?

      Chose carefully ... I say keep it stateside, pay a few extra duckets to guys/gals concerned with their reputation, and yours and a solid skillset to get it done right.

  • I used to outsource to elance.com, but I find that is time consuming as well unless you need a lot of back links to contra off the time overheads...

    You need to interview people and assign projects. I recommend you keep the guy you like and keep posting project to them, if they did some great job.
  • i would prefer to do it by myself and cauz I'm just new in this field .
    I can't just outsoure it without even knowing how to judge their performance .

  • I love oDesk and have found a wonderful virtual assistant that just does my back-linking perfect for $3.00 a hour. You might have to go through a few people before you find a dedicated worker but when you do it is so great and your linking strategies start showing results so much quicker.
  • "Outsourcing" involves transferring or sharing management control and/or decision-making of a business function to an outside supplier, which involves a degree of two-way information exchange, coordination and trust between the outsourcer and its client.

  • I did about 20 links this morning including looking for the place to do it and it does take a long time (5 hrs!!) and many blogs will wait to review before you know they publish your post.

    • oDesk is the best outsourcing backlinks, which allows you to outsource a variety of different tasks. You simply post an advert with a description of what you want to do and how much your budget is. Usually within a few hours you will have a handful of applications for the job you are outsourcing.
  • ODesk is my favorite place for outsourcing, you can try there...

    Another place will be cheaper - Digital point forum, but you need to try many people before you get a good one... and usually good people tends to saturated with too many jobs.

  • The search engine traffic is one of the best traffic, you may have. People look for things on the Internet through search engines. Google still gets more traffic than all other search engines combined.
    You need your website to install properly using good SEO strategies. You want to outsource this and get your website set up properly so that search engines can do the promotion, unless you plan to learn to do yourself.
