Tools to verify "dofollow" vs "nofollow" backlinks.

Hi,
I am new to online marketing & SEO...
Assume we can create some backlinks of our website in some webpages, can anybody share to us any free tools that can help us verify whether the backlinks created is a "dofollow" or "nofollow", thanks alot..

    Through the installation of Add-on in the tool bar will helps to spotlight the do-follow and no-follow links.
  • There aren't any free tools I'm aware of but you should get Scrapebox. It's cheap and can do exactly what you need plus hundreds of helpful features.
  • There is a tool called Mozbar which helps you to find out nofollow and dofollow links.

    • Thanks alot for the tool, I tried to install the toolbar, when I tried the tool, I have difficulty to understand the output. Could you help me on this?

      In the "inbound link" tab, I have the result of " 0 " external followed link, but in the tab "compare link metrics" , I can see there are "9" external followed links, is there anyway to know the webpage of the 9 followed links?

  • In firefox, there is lots of addons from where you check the links are dofollow or no follow, install the add-ons and check it.

    Do you have firefox? If yes then there are many kind of add-on that can help you more but you can also search on forums that is there anyone who is giving free tools as you need.

      The recommendation from DivyaRai on ahref works as expected, it looks like on the free version it only allow 3 reports, don't know wheter we can have more than 3 reports on the free version by deleting some reports or after sometime they will allow us to analyse more website.

      Another question on the backlinks tho...
      I saw some backlinks have this.... target="_blank"... Does this code indicate any nofollow in nature? Anyone can share their view on this is highly appreciated, tx alot.

  • Install search status add-on in your firefox browser. It is also a good tool to identify nofollow and do follow links.

  • I still have 1 question though on the code target(=)"_blank" ....Please ignore the (), the real code without the (), but if I type the code as it is in here, the warrior forum automatically add "nofollow" infront..
    I found this code in a lot of backlinks and have a strong feeling that this code is having the same nature as nofollow, can someone confirm the purpose of this target code ? Tx.
