Keyword tool similar to Adwords

Hi

Does anyone know of an alternative keyword tool to Adwords.

Now that the Adwords keyword tool has gone or rather now you have to have an account to use it, I was wandering if there was a similar tool that is free and available to anyone to use as well.

  • No it is not gone and you do not need paid account to use it. Just a gmail account will do. a bunch of Other paid keyword tools are available though.

    • Is the display planner the correct thing to click on when searching for keywords? I have been gone away from IM for a while and Google has me all screwed up now.

      I will put in a keyword and it will give me tons of phrases unrelated to what I am searching for.

      edit: Okay. I think I FINALLY figured it out. I am supposed to use the Keyword planner NOT display planner...is that correct?

      I kept clicking on the keyword planner and it would not show up. I was using Firefox (not sure if that matters.) I switched over to Google Chrome and what do you know? It works!

      If anyone has anything to add to help me and the OP out, I would gladly appreciate it. I have been gone from IM for 4 years. Although everything feels the same, it also feels a lot different. It kind of feels like riding a bike...you never totally forget how to do it. I just have to learn some new things.
  • Awled, can you explain how you access it with just an email when Adwords keyword tool does not exist anymore. It has been replaced.

    I am looking for a keyword tool similar to Adwords that is free and requires no account creation.

    No there is no other better tool than Google Adword, use your gmail account to sign up for the Google Adwords and from there you could get back to the Google Keyword Planner tool. You can find a number of Keyword planner tool in the market but trust me Google Keyword Planner is the best. You could also look at the future trend of the keyword by googling Google Trends .

      And yes Promo87 I know all about the Keyword planner but what I need is a keyword tool that can be accessed without an account because when I give training online I need clients to be able to instantly see a keyword tool and not have to create an Adwords account.
