Question about link building

Hey guys,

I was thinking about buying one of the WSO which give you 50 -100 places to put up back links.

At the moment I have two projects that I'm working on alternately.

The first is an affiliate review site, the other a squeeze page + offer in order to build a list.

1. Would it be useful to build back links to the review site in order to get higher up on the search engine rankings?
2. Can I use the back link pages (the ones I'm linking from) to link to several of my sites or will that flag alarms with the people that run those sites?
3. Should I concentrate on one keyword phrase at a time untill I'm as high as I want to be? In this case most probably xxxx product reviews

Thanks

    To answer your questions directly:

    1. Yes, it would be useful. But I'm not sure what the "alternative" would be. You should continue to build more and more backlinks to your online properties to gain rankings.

    2. Depending on the package you get, you might not need a "backlinks page". Most of the WSO's show you how to get links on websites that won't require a link back.

    3. You should vary a little bit. If the anchor is "blue widgets", then also use "blue widget", "blue widgets products", "blue widget reviews", etc... Try and keep the main keyword within the anchor text, but then add a few extra words.

    Hope that helps.

    2. If your sites are on the same class c ip, don't link to all of them too much. And remember to mostly deep link if you can. Google seems to like it better, and if your internal linking structure/anchor texts are good your main page will benefit greatly.
