SEO + Google Plus

I have not stayed up on much lately and find myself severally handicapped when it comes to today's SEO facts. Is it correct that most sites have a google plus account now because it effects google rank?

Aren't G+ accounts on people rather than sites? For example George may have one G+ account linked to all his domains/niches ect.. Or is having multiple G+ accounts the way togo. What if I don't want my RL associated with my niche sites.

    I don't care about G+ & still rank pages. I also get more SERP real estate with self hosted video thumbnail images (unlimited images) in Google SERPs compared to a small static G+ profile image.

  • i have noticed similar thing with ppc too, it improves overall rank. Google plus will definitly add a + to website reputation.
  • Google+ account is very important for google ranking. It can really boost your rankings. You can create a separate google+ page for your website. But be careful while sharing contents. Don't share things to sell. You account can be suspended and after some time you may be totally banned. It's considered to be spamming.
