Hello

My tier1 web 2.0 properties are all unique articles. What is an optimal amount of backlinks on one article? Maybe 1-2, but is there something wrong if those 2 backlinks are pointing to the same site? Or is it better to use only 1 backlink on one article on each web 2.0 site?

Is it better to use different web 2.0s if backlinks are pointing to the same site but different urls?

I mean: blogspot.com article1 pointing to my url 1, blogspot.com article2 pointing to my url 2 etc

I mean web 2.0 domain ip is the same → many backlinks from the same ip (web 2.0) are pointing to the same ip (my site)

    Hi, heres my 2 pence,

When you start trying to systemize and turn link building into a science, you start to structure you campaigns too much and I think this is where you might start failing.

When you create brand new web2.0 properties for the purpose of back linking to your money site imo, your really creating a "brand new site". Your brand new site does not have any leverage at all. No "trust" in Google whatsoever.

Instead of creating a web2.0 property, why not approach a site and request a "guest post". If the site meets the criteria, that guest post will be much more powerful than your web2.0 links. I'm just throwing up numbers here but 1 powerful link could be worth more than 50 web2.0 links.

In the last 20 months in business, I've probably created a handful of web2.0 only because I didn't know better but now I only work with properties which are already established. Site authority/history is subjective but I've been getting good results.

Let me know if you need any more advice.

    Michael
