Rate my Site?

Just a blogging site about natural cures.

Tell me what you think. Starting to post new articles shortly, had to update all old ones because of bad content, no keyword research etc.

Let me know what you guys think and what could be changed or added?

  • Pretty good, i would change the sidebar adsense to 300x600. Also add 300x250 (or 336x280) to top of the post and 468x60 in the middle of the post for better CTR.
    Also make the subscription box more attractive!

      and i will fix that subscribe box, just a plugin i used.
  • Yes, the first adsense 300x250 (or 336x280 even better) but on the top of post to the left (or right, just test which works better) - in the post.
    And the 468x60 put in the middle of the post. At the moment it is on the left.

  • You may also remove the pics from post which may distract the visitors attention and iy gives a better position for adsense. The sidebar ad isnt adsense? You should try the large skyscraper adsense ad on sidebar.

  • All I saw were a lot of generic health articles that can be found on thousands of blogs.

    What I didn't see were any citations or references to support any of the remedy claims being made.

    Was I wrong?
  • If the skyscraper units on the right column then performed that well, try them in the left-hand column above any menu, these are by far my best performing ads on my website. I would also encourage you to put a 336 rectangle at the end of your content, these are my second best performing ads
  • I don't find the content that interesting, but it's definitely not the worst out there. You could try to format it a bit differently to make it more readable. Try to split long paragraphs and the "how to" list to smaller chunks. Some of this is just CSS formatting.

    Since you're posting on SEO/PPC forum, I'm not going to comment on the layout. However, your h1s for the articles are in the wrong place.

    That site will most likely get you banned from Adsense during a manual review for making so many health claims (entire site). Try reading policies that you've already agreed with.
  • Not too bad at all. I would put the category page as the home page and spiff up the email opt in a bit. cruse around the web and look at other email opt-in's . just by having a light blue background behind the opt-in will make it stand out.

  • Good idea for a blog.

    I would add some sort of word cloud thing to show the list of ailments without having to use a drop-down list.
