Is there some recommended keyword search volume( eg. at least 1000 searches/month ) for a keyword , for it to be worth putting in your google adwords campaign ? I know there cannot be a completely wright or wrong answers but the gurus here may be having some recommendations .

    and what about the competition you can go after keywords that have more search volume but the issue is the competition

    If it is a highly targeted keyword then there is no minimum. Seeing as you are only being charged per click, it doesn't cost you anything extra to stick in the low search volume but highly targeted keyword.
