Question about Backlinks

when we start building a links we should build it for only homepage or for every page we created?

    Most marketers only focus on the homepage. This isn't a "bad" strategy because there is a trickle-down-effect of pagerank, which enables your inner pages to rank higher.

    You see this same principle in action with Amazon, Youtube, and other high authority domains, where the homepage is trusted, but the inner page might have very little backlinks (yet still rank very well).

    If you do build up inner pages you'll be in the elite 1% of marketers, and help spread your link profile / diversity, so if you have the time/budget it's certainly a better strategy.

    When it comes to backlinks, diversity is the key.

    So when you are building backlinks, you should try to get them as wide and as diverse as you can think of. Diverse anchor texts, diverse (high-quality ) backlink sources, and of course diverse links to different pages of your website. That will make your backlink profile look more natural and organic, and will also strengthen your traffic.

    Also, as long as your website has a proper internal linking structure to share link juice (which is mandatory), you are usually better off having links pointing towards the most relevant landing/selling page(s).

    We generally focus on the home page for the backlinks such as directories and mostly we give preference to other pages also.
