Can I use 2 SEO Plugins? (Yoast and SEOPressor)

I had been using Yoast SEO for over a year and my rank never went above 1. I decided to look at other SEO plugins.

I purchased SEOPressor after doing a ton of research. I didn't just go by comments, but I checked a couple of pages done in SEOPressor and they all had HIGH ranking. The SEOPressor page itself has a page ranking of 6/10. That alone made me buy it. They must be doing something right.

However, there were a lot of options with the Yoast plugin that aren't on the SEOPressor...

Is it safe to use both plugins together? Do you have any other suggestions?

    Do not use two SEO plugins at the same time. Why would you? They're attempting to do the same thing. If their coders knew about each other one of them might even shut itself down to prevent unwanted results.

    Pagerank comes from backlinks, and that's something your WordPress SEO plugin has no control over. If you're looking to increase pagerank you're barking the wrong tree.

    Sorry, but that's not a very good reason to buy a SEO plugin. In addition to the stuff I said above Yoast's frontpage PR is also 6. This isn't the first time I hear this weird argument. Where does it come from? EDIT: ah, it was you who has said it before. It seems that I didn't get through that time, so here we go again.

    Yes you may use both Yaost and SEOPressor together. Yoast can help you with site-wide settings and optimization and SEOPressor is better with on-page optimization. SEOPressor is serving more than 130K websites now and many of them are ranking very well. Few big bloggers are using SEOPressor too.

      How does it exactly work if you have two plugins that are attempting to do the same thing? Why do you say that SEOPressor is "better with on-page optimization"? This isn't rocket science, and Yoast SEO already has all the key areas covered.

    i am using single SEO plugin Yoast and it is working fine for me. If you have knowledge of HTML so you can optimize the page manually. Yoast help choose keywords, sitemap creation. No SEO plugin will help to promote your content they only to optimize your content.

    yes you can do that If I remember SEO pressor is for specifically on page seo : keyword density etc..

    I would suggest to stick with one plugin. Reason? because the plugins may override each other. I had two duplicate titles once on my domain because both plugins said their own thing. Just check your domains page source to see if the title,desc, and other info is not repeated.

    I haven't used SEOpressor. If they both have different functions then it won't affect you.
