Hi Warriors,
We are facing a keyword ranking issue and we are unable to resolve it till date. Can anyone of you suggest us a solution that can work

Issue:
We are operating a Healthcare Industry brand website since 1997. We are a New York based firm. Our website has been ranked in NewYork Google first page search result for many years against our primary keyword "EMR".(curemd.com/emr.htm) Recently a strange thing has happened and our website is not appearing from our major product search term EMR in NewYork Google search results. Currently it's on second page of Google Global search result against the same keyword but it's nowhere in NewYork search result.

We have already contacted to google webmaster and here is the reply:

Dear site owner or webmaster of hxxp://www.curemd.com,
We received a request from a site owner to reconsider hxxp://www.curemd.com for compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
We reviewed your site and found no manual actions by the webspam team that might affect your site's ranking in Google. There's no need to file a reconsideration request for your site, because any ranking issues you may be experiencing are not related to a manual action taken by the webspam team.
Of course, there may be other issues with your site that affect your site's ranking. Google's computers determine the order of our search results using a series of formulas known as algorithms. We make hundreds of changes to our search algorithms each year, and we employ more than 200 different signals when ranking pages. As our algorithms change and as the web (including your site) changes, some fluctuation in ranking can happen as we make updates to present the best results to our users.
If you've experienced a change in ranking which you suspect may be more than a simple algorithm change, there are other things you may want to investigate as possible causes, such as a major change to your site's content, content management system, or server architecture. For example, a site may not rank well if your server stops serving pages to Googlebot, or if you've changed the URLs for a large portion of your site's pages. This article has a list of other potential reasons your site may not be doing well in search.
If you're still unable to resolve your issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forum for support.
Sincerely,
Google Search Quality Team

We did talk in google webmaster forum as well but still we are clueless.

The first thing you need to do is pay attention when someone offers you good advice. The guy (Master Shifu) over on the Google forum pointed out the major site overhaul & all the messed up URLs.

This is the same page with two unique URLs (tip of the iceberg):
    • hxxp://www.curemd.com
    • hxxp://www.curemd.com/home.asp

You've had 9 days since the other guy told you what to fix & you still haven't bothered to correct the problem. Your confusing the heck out of Googlebot with 2 home pages.

I can't even see anything on your full Google cache pages.

How do you expect anyone to help you when you won't take the time to help yourself?

      Confusing thread

      A) I don't see multiple home pages (redirect perhaps although i would have thought the asp page is just the home page itself)
      B) unless Google groups is freaky I see dates from 2013 not 9 days ago.

Edit : I am even more confused because upon reading as I suspected you are running asp so why was there a need for a javascript redirect ? Or was "Master Shifu" just off base with that? home.asp is a fairly popular index page on ASP systems..

Both the URLs I posted above go to different pages with the same content.

Something weird is going on with the Google cache (full version), I'm running Chrome & the cache page is blank.

I have checked and find that you lost so many links after January 16, So you need to check your back links and identify the reason. You can do google local listing it will help you to gain local search term in Google.

    Dear All,
    Thank you for your reply.

Yukon : Yes we do respect good advice and we did fix the issues that master shifu had pointed out. Our hxxt://curemd.com/home.asp is not indexed anywhere in search engine as this page is redirected to hxxt://curemd.com. We don't have multiple home pages. If this page is opening at your side it might not have been properly redirected but one thing is for sure home.asp page is not indexed anywhere so we do not have a mirror page. Will definitely check it again.

Mike Anthony : Yes our website was on html but our designers changed it to .asp to give to website a good user experience. As in .Asp you have more options to design your website. Few of our pages are on .htm because we did not wanted to redirected those pages as they were good in ranking. We were not sure if redirection can hurt ranking so go with those page in html.

A 301 is classed the same as a link, so there would be some degradation in link juice to the new destination. About 15% they say, but I don't think that's your problem.

How long ago did you make the switch? If it fairly recent it could be that the link juice from the old pages just hasn't fully passed over to the new pages yet.

I believe it went live at the end of October 2013. I do not think that link juice is not passing I mean the page that used to rank for keyword "EMR" still have a 4 page rank (curemd.com/emr.htm) and it's been more than 4 months since the website went live.

To be honest we are still unable to figure out the actual issue that eliminated our keyword rank in Google New York results.

Yes you do & it's already been shown to you multiple times.

It's annoying when someone ask for help & they don't care enough about their own site problems to actually do anything to remedy their SERP problems.

I don't know what your looking for but it's not help.
