Google bot

A while ago, I restricted access to the Google bot. Should I be giving it some access? By pages update perfectly okay whenever I change anything

So you have forbidden the Google bot from crawling your site? Won't that keep your site from being indexed or appearing in Google search? Maybe you should update to allow the Google bot, at least for public (not private, membership related) pages.

Check you robots.txt file, there you can set if or not to allow Google or any other bots from crawling your site.
