Help creating backlinks

As I am new to IM and making money from websites, I am in need of a some help.
I've heard of Wiki Links, Social Bookmarks, Article Links, Forum Links, Profile Links, Blog Comments, Web 2.0, and others but I have no idea what these are, what effect they have (which are better), nor how to make them and make sure they are done right.
Can anyone help me with this? Any tutorials, I truly can not seem to find any to at least get me started.

    They're junk links, avoid them. Build quality links on pages from same/similar niche sites.

    • This is absolutely true. I now only use private networks and they work the best. PM me if you need some suggestions.
  • just get yourself started with google. and ask ´ how to start linkbuilding´ for sure it will get you bussy for a while
  • Google+ seems to be a good backlinking strategy, but only if you are adding good content to your posts, not just links. The content on the post should be indepth and relate to the site being linked to. And, it helps if you are in many circles on Google+ and active or popular with other Google+ users as this increases your authority when your posts are shared, commented on or talked about.

    • Ummmm...not. And yes social media is great for gaining backlinks! Whether it be Google+ or Facebook. Get involved in certain communities in your niche that have a large following and post useful info on them. I've gained a lot of readers to some of my blogs this way.

  • Build quality links and take your time doing so, all though the process takes longer the results are better and have more sustainability. Content is king.

  • Use Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus to get backlinks, you just need to share articles / pictures there.

  • Whatever you do or where you post your link, the basic thing you have to keep in mind that
    the contents shouldn't be repeated or not duplicate or copied.
  • Build quality backlinks on high PR sites. this will increse your search engine ranking.
  • Outside of the web 2.0's you should probably avoid everything else you mentioned in your post. Just concentrate on Backlinks to your site that are from sites that are like your own.
