Backlinks and Articles

I have a quick question pertaining articles and backlinks. I am purchasing Angela's WSO backlinks and submitting articles to Ezinearticles plus about 10 other places. The resource box for my articles contains a link to a squeeze page for my site.

Now to the question: Would or do you use backlinks such as the backlinks I get from Angela's WSO to help rank my articles (the ones submitted to Ezinearticles) or would you focus on building backlinks using the main keywords for your squeeze page?

I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance for your replies.

    I agree I would build my main page (squeeze page in this case).. I would not give more authority to EZA, which is exactly what you are doing when you link to those articles. Sure you increase the rankings of your articles but you also give more authority to EZA..

    I disagree with the other posts. IMO, you link to the pages that link to you.

    Who cares if EZA gets more "authority", especially if it means an article gets better rank. And even if true, EZA will then pass more "authority" to your page through the links in your resource box.

    I want links to any page that has a positive impact for me...This is how you dominate the SERPs for keywords. I want EZA AND my own page to rank 1 and 2, so I would link to both.
