So I am about to start onsite optimization and wanted to make sure if I was on the right path.
This is what I intend to do:

1. Home Page have about 15-20 key words relevant to the whole site.

2. Individual pages have keywords, meta data relevant only to those particular pages but the key words have to be the one I want user to find my site with.

3. Same thing for page titles. Every page title should be relevant for the content of that page.

4. A little key word stuffing where possible but won't spoil the flow of content.

5. Internal links. My goal is 2 part for internal linking:

a) Anytime there is a keyword that relates to another page hyperlink it but of course not too many either.

b) Use product links to funnel customers to sales pages.

Is there anything else I missed or I need to do?

I really suck with onsite optimization so I ask. The problem with out sourcing is that they try to chose easy keywords so they can claim success in 2 months. I have been working real hard for close to 2 years now and want to do it right and get where I want to.

My site is www.socialskillsinstitute.com and any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks!
