Hi warrior,
I would like to tell you that i am getting tired of the link building strategies am using, what really happened is that for the past six months of starting a new campaign, i have been engaging in the uses of blog commenting, forum posting, article writing, social bookmarking etc, with all my effort, i only get less than a hundred pageviews per day, as a result of this, my site was not generating good income. I must confess, am seriously fed up, is there any other way round to this problem. Thanks in advance

Dear if you want to increase income then you have to increase the content quality by making it seo friendly. In that case you will get unlimited organic traffic and so alternatively you need to do so much work on the traditional ways of generating traffic.

Thanks for your contribution, in your post you mentioned "traditional ways of generating traffic", are you talking about paid traffic or what? Please i need more light on this, thanks

The post you replied to seems to be gibberish. It has actual words that form sort of sentences, but they don't mean much if anything at all. "Unlimited organic traffic" is a giveaway - there's no such thing as unlimited.

It's really hard to tell what might be wrong without seeing your site and content. There's just too much that could be wrong. Strong competition, too little search traffic, poor content, not a viable niche, not targeted enough / targeted to a too specific subject, not enough decent backlinks, etc... Most often the competition is fierce, and the content is relatively weak in comparison.
          Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

          What's your excuse?

I think one of the challenges you have is expecting to start making money on your website within a period of 6 months. With fierce competition, you are better off building a solid foundation for your website by producing good content and then promoting your website to attract more visitors. Today's surfers are wiser and you need to up your game.

      Boom! This is the answer.

Thanks for your comment, concerning the time frame, i agree with you but i want to ask you that is it impossible to start generating some income in less than six months, irrespective of the competition?

There are so many things that go into traffic. How strong is your competition? Can you make it to page 1? And, more importantly, into the top 3 of the search results? How popular is your niche? Do your keywords get a decent amount of searches? Are you "going where the traffic is?" In other words, providing content (guest posts, comments, forum posts, etc) on high traffic / niche related sites? etc.

Also, the fact that you're getting traffic is a good sign. Sure, less than a hundred visitors a day isn't a lot. But it can be repeated with other sites. I've got a large handful of "low traffic" (about 50-100 visitors a day) sites that convert EXTREMELY well because the traffic is coming from buyer oriented keywords and niche-related sites. The trick is to have a number of these types of sites up and running at the same time. 100 visitors a day turns into 500, 1000, etc.

focus on quality content, not links.... it looks like you're slaving away building junk no-follow or low quality links....that's not going to get you far.

Find a handful of places that will syndicate your content or allow your site on their blogroll. Not the "best" strategy but it is the easiest way to actually get some search traffic nowadays. All the free linkbuilding stuff you hear in here is mostly BS posts that are just posted for signature clicks.

I don't do any active link building at all and I get 3-4 pingbacks a day from various sites and most of my content gets picked up by a couple highly rated sites that I communicate with often....its not because im lucky or did awesome keyword research or sacrificed a cat in the name of the all-mighty Cutts... its because I focus on writing and making REAL connections with other webmasters.

the successful days of paying for crap content, posting some junk links and hoping google will take of the rest are flat out gone and anyone that says differently is in denial. Honestly my advice is to not listen to anyone whatsoever on here about linkbuilding and just focus on growing your site organically.

If your site is just another cookie cutter made for adsense or list building site then im sorry to say but you're too late to the party. Those days are gone. Its all about visitor retention, quality content and virality of content now. Good luck!
