I'm attempting to monetize my site. I don't know much about AdSense. Is it a good idea to sign up? I would greatly appreciate some "AdSense experienced" comments.

      Google AdSense is a good way to make money, but it's not the sort of thing that you should look upon as stable income because it is extremely erratic, sometimes you will have a really good month, the next time it's absolute rubbish. Like the other people have said, being successful and earning decent amounts of money will very much depend on the quality of your content. It's being able to keep people on the page that is the goal to getting clicks. So if you're prepared to put a lot of time and effort into creating articles that people will stop and read the new code do very well. If it's the sort of page where someone is going to have a fleeting glance and then move on, you probably won't do very well at All.

      The best thing to do is create your website and get that optimised and receiving Plenty of traffic. Once you have got a healthy daily visitor rates and it's time to set up your AdSense.
