Correlations to Adsense Revenue

I havent yet monetized much with Adsense so I am wondering what exactly determines how well a site will convert via adsense clicks?

Obviously the positioning is important but is simply traffic a strong determining factor of conversions?

Since adsense uses recognition software to determine what ads they display based on your site, I really only see traffic and positioning in your hands.

Realistically if I can rank my site on the first page for 2000 word keywords am I guaranteed to earn adsense money? Or is there some other determining factor at work here?

Such as "article quality", "niche topic", "demographic", etc?

I would say it's 90%+ all about positioning. So yes, if you get a good amount of traffic, you are "guaranteed" to make money if you have done everything else correctly.

Article quality is also important, as people won't stay a minute on your website, if they see your content as spammy. (Which is not exclusively true though, I remember back then, when people uploaded the spammiest content on the world, so that customers will want to leave the website ASAP, so they will click on ads more often, lol!)

Placement and Banner format choice are key issues here.
    Of course without traffic.....zip!...no money

    Good luck
