Will Putting a Youtube Vid With 1 Sentence of Content Trigger Panda Penalty?

Back on the 10th i lost about 40% of my traffic to this one site. Pretty sure it was a Panda thing.

Anyway out of 25 pages about 7 pages had just 1 sentence and a youtube vid. The rest of the pages had articles between 500 - 800 words.

I know Panda will penalize for low quantity and low quality pages. But how does Google see pages with a youtube vid plus only 1 sentence of written content - is that enough content or not??

Thanks

Quantity of content has nothing to do with Panda.

Having a video with 1 sentence will not get a page penalized. It may not rank well depending on a whole host of other factors, but it will not incur a penalty.

A lot of people around here act like content can only be text. You could have a 2 hour movie with zero text on the page, If that's what traffic wants, that's enough content.

I rank plenty of pages where my content is inside of zip files, maybe a sentence per page on average across thousands of pages on multiple domains. I have quality sites with traffic searching my domain names (no EMDs). I have plenty of subscribers. I get plenty of request for new content (files). My point is do whatever keeps the traffic coming back.

On-page SEO is mostly about keyword positioning & relevant internal linking. The amount of text per page only matters If your trying to rank one page for a bunch of different keywords, but targeting one main keyword per page is a whole lot easier (better focused).

Is it possible to have success with SEO by using a video on youtube for a post/article?

So it is likely that there will be few words, but visitors would stay on the page for a while - watching the video.

    Let me know your thoughts.
