seo book v google's kwtool

Hey warriors, the number of searchers in google's kwtool displays 60 000 searches for a specific keyword a month but in seo book the same term only shows 86 daily searches, so abit more than 2000

Why on earth the HUGE difference and which one is more correct?:confused:

    make sure you have google's kw tool set to exact match - not broad

    HUGE difference is likely due to source of information...

    I would go with Google over SEO Book every time. Get the info straight from the Horse's mouth.

    This difference is due to the way they are tracking the hits. Mostly they use cookies for this purpose but sometimes people block the cookies so the count can differ.

    Also, a visit less than < 5 sec might not be count as a visit by one of the two so this can also affect the count.

    But, there can be plenty of reasons for this.
