Which VPS service do you guys recommend?

I am using the Cloud VPS service by Hostnine. Although Hostnine had been taken over by EIG as well, its quality of service has actually increased over the years.

Avoid OVH resellers, which pretty much every vps seller is. Just go straight to http://www.ovh.com/ca/en/ and get yourself a dedi with 10xtimes the power for the same price they'll charge you for a vps.

Thanks Kevin! Which service (enterprise or hosting) would I pick though for what I'm trying to do? I need a Windows machine that I can install scrapebox, GSA, and SEO spyglass to.

I saw a link on there for an entry level server at The server for all your projets - So you Start, does that sound about right?

  I really like Hostwinds and have used them for years. I've had bad luck with 100tb and softlayer for higher end hosting.
  
  We host at Dreamhost as well, but they horribly oversell their servers. I'd expect every large company to do that.

Thats a crazy ass deal. I had no idea you can get a dedi for that cheap.

I use Berman Hostings $28.99 plan and was going to upgrade, but I think I may change to ovh instead.

Like I said earlier, 99% of vps sellers out there are just OVH resellers.

Doxx your Berman IP, I bet it pops up OVH France or Germany.

I haven't touched linkbuilding software in a dogs age. Only last week I gave away my GSA suite worth $400 or something.

I got to say, this is really valuable information and I'm surprised I've never heard it before. I'm glad I didn't commit to berman long term and I'm gonna drop my contract this month and switch over to OVH.

BTW, why did you give away your GSA suite?

Were you not getting results with it? I personally love GSA. If I gave it away right now my earnings would drop by like $3-$4k / month.

It's the same like, when your cleaning your house I guess. If you haven't used something in over a year, throw it out or give it to someone who will.

I hear you my man. haven't given mine away but started it once in the last year just to see what it looked like. Shut it down and thanked God people were still wasting time with that rather than doing Drop kicks (if you know what I mean and I think you do)

Sorry but I don't understand this. That isn't the Knownhost IP address. And Knownhost aren't a reseller according to their website:

"We own all our equipment"

No that's not there websites IP.

That's one of their server IP's. You know the ones they rent to people.

Actually that doesn't matter with Knownhost. Their customer service and management is very good and thats why they are worth what they charge (which is NOT very much.)

They are not a windows VPS provider. If you are just running tools then management doesn't matter as much

Best unmanaged VPS out there is Linode. There not the cheapest and there also not the most expensive out there. Their support is the best.

I am surprised no has already mentioned them

I also also like digital ocean. I have some servers with them and they seem to be pretty good so far.

The above 2 recommendations are only good if you know how to admin a server. If not go with Rackspace for hosting or another host mentioned here.

I am currently using bulletproofvps with seo tools vps plans, it's a good service with auto captcha solving and GSA search engine ranker but the most I am grateful because the support is always there. So far no problem with them.

For Affordable VPS in Canada (you can ask them for US ip's I believe) I use OVH (very very cheap starts at $3/month for 1GB and fast). The only thing I don't like about them is they use AMD cpu's for their VPS offerings

Model: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 4284

For High Performance a little bit more expensive SSD VPS I use Ramnode.com. Solid I/O performance, ultra fast 1GBPS connection, and I believe they use E3-1240 V2 on their OpenVZ SSD servers.

I would definitely recommend Ramnode's pure SSD servers for you use coupon wht35 or wht30 don't remember which one works

Coming from a reformed Payday Loans spammer, Poweruphosting is the way to go. Xrumer, GSA, Senuke, whatever is fine. I never even used proxies (Though I believe they ask that you do, and may have changed that requirement)
