Youtube:The beginning of the end is finally here

Looks like the big G finally got around to kicking over your little toy empires. Here's the afternoon funnies/butthurt for those of you that missed it:

This one was sooooo obvious. Remember BMR? Once everyone jumps on the bandwagon, run.

My next prediction is that G will continue to tackle this on through the Spring for those of you that made it through the cracks. This will then cause a mass migration of butthurt from BHW to the WF. Yep, this is just the beginning folks.

Following that will come the private network madness late in the Fall. Gotta give my man Mike credit for that one, didn't think it was viable until he posted about targeting the auction market. Welcome to SEO in 2014. Ya'll ain't ready.

    There have been a lot of ups and downs over the past month.

    • I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary this month. Then again I don't do Youtube spam. The BHW thread posted above was found by someone and shared in a skype group after a lot of whining. One poor guy in particular spent the last year or so building a little "empire" and bragging about it. Most of that got wiped out along with a few other people.

      As big and widespread as this little strategy has become you'd have to have your head buried 6 feet deep to not see the obvious coming. Google OWNS Youtube for christ sake lol. Nowadays if you find something that works, best to keep it to yourself. Sounds selfish but hey, live and you learn.

  • #1) I know those members on BHW and can vouch for the fact that most of them are teens and suck at video marketing.

    #2) I have over 500 YT videos ranking on page 1 of G and I have not had ANY loss of rankings. All my videos that ranked #1 are still ranking #1. And some of those videos are almost 2 years old now.

    #3) I doubt you will see people from BHW coming to WF. Over the last 6 months I've been doing a lot more posting on BHW than here. BHW gives you a lot more strategies, they're a lot more specific, there is very little censorship, and I tend to find much better threads over there than WF.

    Both forums have their pros and cons. But one thing I've always like about BHW is the anti-wso attitude. Like over here, if you want ANY real specific strategies, you better expect to pay for them. Over there, people share very detailed, specific strategies for free. And the IM journey section is awesome. TBPO, a newbie can learn A LOT MORE just by reading through the journey section of BHW (for free) than buying WSOs on here.

    On WF, if you ask "how to rank a video", you get people saying crap like "post the video on forums" or "get links on yahoo answers". On BHW, people tell you the truth and what actually works best. Which is, "blast your video with retention views, likes, subs then spam it till it ranks on G".

    I love both forums. But I don't hang on here as much because 90% of the threads are the same newbie threads over and over. There are way too many newbs on this forum. Theres lots of newbs on BHW too, but people aren't as polite as they are here. On BHW if you ask a stupid question, people will tell you to go **** off. On here, people LOVE answering stupid questions. Which attracts more and more stupid questions and dilutes down the value of the forum.

    Anyway, back on topic. This is definitely not the end of youtube. I upload at least 2-3 new videos a day and all my videos are still moving up the SERPs slowly and ranking on G. Most of the videos that got deranked were 30-60 second videos with 1 image that points to the description. But if you're doing high quality videos, and spamming them "properly", they're still ranking perfectly fine.

    ps. This is just my CB earnings (I also do CPA and lots of local lead gen). Its not recent but last week I hit $350, and this week its looking like I might break $400. So my earnings are technically going up.

    • It's funny you say this... We've been blogging things like SEO recipes and case studies for that exact reason, including one on YT earlier this week. I've long since given up on finding a good WSO that isn't a rehash and spend way more time on BHW as well.

    I share as much as I can here on Warrior Forum for free without shooting myself in the foot. Give up every single thing you know & the masses will drive it into the dirt & your own self taught techniques will be screwed.

    Google does troll forums. Remember the Matt C. tweet a month or so back laughing at the BH forum sales page?
