A current and relevant PPC learning program today?

So I've been talking to some of my friends/subscribers about how they should at least think of 'graduating' to PPC from article and SEO marketing. Mostly with the ideas I wrote about before here http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...per-click.html .

Inevitably I get asked what program I recommend, and I realize I don't really know this part of the ebook market that much. my experience with PPC has been strictly learning the hard way by seeing money disappear when I do it wrong.

Of course I could 1) try to teach them myself, or 2) find the biggest commission, highest-converting product to send them to and sweep the cash in. But neither are options right now since I'm for 1 involved in other projects which take up my time and for 2 these are my friends and I really do want them to get the best.

I hesitate to automatically say Perry Marshall since I've been hearing about him for so long that I don't know if his stuff is still current.

So please, people who have learned from a course/ebook and currently succeed at the PPC game a bit. which one course or book do you consider to be the most relevant and useful for someone trying to make the switch today?

Thank you for any and all suggestions.

  • I've been advertising that on my blog but never decided to buy it, now I'm off to invest my money.

    Thanks.
  • Thanks Vincent, however that program seems a bit difficult to choose since 1) its high price will put it out of my friends' "try-it" zone and 2) it really seems heavily targetted and customized to MLM and network marketers? I don't know. I've bookmarked it for myself though, and if I hear more good about it in the future I will check it out.

Anyway after some PM's and doing a few searches by myself on the forums (which of course is what i should have done in the beginning, duh) I'm going with James Schramko's "Double Digit CTR", since it's affordable, light-weight, aimed precisely at the type of person I need it to be aimed at, and having bought it and looked it over I can see that the info is good and solid. Plus I'm a sucker for case studies
