I currently have a YouTube account and have several of my videos monetised.
The problem is that YouTube keep questioning the source of the music that I use. I've sent them all appropriate data to show I do have license to use the music - I even sent them a link to the owner of the music's website where he confirmed that individuals have license to use the music on YouTube.
Despite this, YouTube haven't responded to this information after 2 months so I can only assume that they don't regard it as sufficient.
My question is - is there any music on the internet that you can safely use and quote to YouTube? I'm tired of finding appropriate sources and then worried that YouTube will get on my back about it. I perfectly understand that they have to make sure every source is valid but I'd like to be able to use a music source (however banal) and at least *know* that I'm allowed to use it at all times.
I'm assuming a lot of experts are on here who know what I'm talking about. As a newbie, can you advise of any music on the net that YouTube definitely allows for monetisation purposes? In addition, any other advice concerning YouTube monetisation would be welcome eg. are in-line ads more efficient in generating revenue than the other types etc.
