Is it possible to rank just a domain name or something that will redirect to a website

Is their a way i can rank something for a keyword and once it is clicked get them redirected to my site. I'm assuming that what i want to rank would have no content, maybe just a domain name.

      If you have the ability to rank Page A for a keyword.
      Only to then redirect it to Page B.

      Why not just rank Page B for the keyword.
